Following the Brain's activities in Northern India on September 14, the Light required a scapegoat to blame their activities on, and rounded up seven super-criminals: Wotan, Joker, Poison Ivy, Atomic Skull, Ultra-Humanite, Count Vertigo and Black Adam.
On October 1, the Injustice League used Kobra Venom and Joker venom on mystically and radioactively enhanced plants to attack Metropolis, Gotham City, Star City, Paris and Taipei. A day later they hijacked the satellite feeds and demanded 10 billion dollars in American money. This led the Team to launch a assault on their base, bringing along Wolf and the Helmet of Fate just in case.
When the Team destroyed their transmitter, a giant plant, the plants around the world were defeated and the Justice League was able to come in and help defeat the Injustice League. Most members were taken to Belle Reve Penitentiary, with the exceptions of Count Vertigo, who had diplomatic immunity, and the Joker, who was sent to Arkham Asylum.
